I love the textures, colors, and shapes in the world around me. I am drawn to dots and lines, circles and straight edges, and I find joy in contrasting intricate patterns with solid, simple shapes.  My process reflects this passion, combining acrylic paint with ink, then adding textured paper, more paint, and finishing with layers of cold wax and oils for added richness. It's all about the textures, vibrant hues, playful pattern combos, and the dance of dots and lines. Ultimately, I strive to express the bold and the daring through my art.

My current collection showcases a variety of sizes, primarily featuring small and medium-sized artworks. Most of these pieces are painted in a captivating negative technique.  Here, vibrant, textured canvases become the stage for hidden subjects, which are revealed once a solid layer of paint is applied. My current collection showcases a variety of sizes, primarily featuring small and medium-sized artworks. Most of these pieces are painted in a captivating negative technique.  Here, vibrant, textured canvases become the stage for hidden subjects, which are revealed once a solid layer of paint is applied. These expressive figures emerge much like a sculpture does once the solid wood is removed. I then enliven my subjects with a symphony of mediums - acrylic inks and markers, children's crayons and oil pastels, while additional layers of collage paper enhance the story line of each painting. On the other hand, some of my pieces use a more traditional approach. However, mixed media remains a constant thread, weaving its way through every creation.
